Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 15, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains what information MindingPeople processes, how it is used, and what choices users have.

Who we are

MindingPeople is provided by SSD GRUP SRL. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app processes, how it is used, when it is shared with service providers, and what choices you have.

What the app is for

MindingPeople helps you organize relationship information and reminders about people in your life. Please do not store highly sensitive personal information in the app, such as government identifiers, financial account numbers, medical records, passwords, or similar confidential data.

Information you provide

Depending on how you use the app, you may provide account details such as your email address and password, or you may sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple through Firebase Authentication. You may also add content that you choose to store in the app, including people records, aliases, birthdays, custom events, name days, notes, relationship data, profile images, and backup files that you export or import.

Information processed automatically

To operate the app, we also process certain technical and service data. This can include your Firebase user ID, authentication provider, purchase and entitlement status from RevenueCat and Apple, local app settings, notification permission status, and basic device or app environment details needed to make sign-in, purchases, storage, and notifications work. We do not currently use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking in the app.

Where your data is stored

Some data is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. If you use account, sync, or upload features, data may also be stored remotely using Google Firebase services. This can include account records in Firebase Authentication, synced app content in Firebase Firestore, and uploaded avatar images in Firebase Storage. Purchase status is processed through RevenueCat and the Apple App Store to manage subscriptions and restore purchases.

How we use your data

We use your data to create and manage your account, sign you in, sync your content between supported environments, upload avatar images you choose to add, schedule and deliver reminders on your device, process and restore subscriptions, enforce plan limits, support backup and restore, protect the security of the app, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers and sharing

We share data only as needed to provide the app and related services. This includes Google Firebase for authentication, cloud database, and file storage; Google sign-in services when you choose Google authentication; RevenueCat for subscription management; Apple for App Store billing and subscription handling; and Expo platform services used by the app runtime. We do not sell your personal information.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the app schedules reminder notifications on your device based on the events and people you save. At this time, reminder scheduling in the app is handled locally on the device. You can disable notifications in the app settings or in your device settings at any time.

Retention

We keep data for as long as it is needed to provide the app to you, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Data stored only on your device remains there until you delete it, remove the app, or overwrite it. Synced cloud data may remain in our service providers' systems until it is deleted from the relevant account or retained for a longer period where required by law or operational necessity.

Your choices

You can export your local data, restore a backup, or delete local app data from Settings. You can also sign out at any time. The app includes a dedicated Delete account flow for supported accounts. If you need additional help with account deletion or synced cloud data, contact us at [email protected]. If you use a subscription, you can manage or cancel it through your Apple account subscription settings.

Children

MindingPeople is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the app.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International processing

Our service providers may process data in countries other than the country where you live. By using the app, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions, subject to applicable law and the safeguards offered by those providers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the in-app policy, the App Store privacy information, or both. Your continued use of the app after an update means the updated policy will apply to future use of the app.
